Water to Water Heat Exchangers
Greenergy is the representative of SWEP International AB in the GCC region. SWEP manufactures the compact Brazed Plate Heat Exchanger (BPHE) for water heat transfer applications. The compact Brazed Plate Heat Exchanger (BPHE) is constructed as a plate package of corrugated channel plates with a filler material between each plate. During the vacuum brazing process, the filler material forms a brazed joint at every contact point between the plates, creating complex channels. The BPHE allows media at different temperatures to come into close proximity, separated only by channel plates that enable heat from one media to be transferred to the other with very high efficiency. The concept is similar to the older plate and frame technology, but without the gaskets and frame parts. On top, the main advantage of the compact BPHE is that it occupied half the spaceneeded for the older plate and frame technology which saves tremendous costs ofbuilding bigger energy transfer stations and where it provides a perfectsolution for replacement jobs or even expansion of load where the availablespace is very limited for the older technology. Thenew technology is also very easily maintained without need of disassembly ofthe unit. A brazed plate heat exchanger (BPHE) is normally self-cleaning,thanks to highly turbulent flows. In applications with a high risk of foulingor scaling, e.g. due to high temperatures, hard water, or high pH levels, cleaning may be required to maintain efficiency. This is achieved quickly andeasily with Cleaning in Place (CIP) module, a method of cleaning the interiorsurfaces of closed systems by circulating a fluid.
Cooling Tower

Greenergy is the exclusive representative of WATCO group in the Middle East. WATCO group has a long history in engineering and supply of cooling towers and specialized in field erected modular mechanical draft cooling towers based on FRP structures. WATCO’s conventional cooling towers is branded as WACON and has several reference in UAE, KSA, Oman and Bahrain. WATCO’s breakthrough green cooling tower is branded as AQUAFAN. This cooling tower was designed and produced in Europe since 1960’s and now for the first time in the Middle East Greenergy is introducing AQUAFAN as the ultimate green cooling tower that will develop a quick success story in the market.

    Features
  • An AQUAFAN CT uses the system pressure of the cooling water to drive its fan.
  • Therefore AQUAFAN CTs do not have a fan motor, gear box or traditional bearings (lubrication of the Teflon bearing rings is by the circulating water).
  • The fan power is generated from the (inverter equipped) system pump.
  • The AQUAFAN Cooling Tower is specially designed for industrial & near sea conditions.
  • The AQUAFAN Cooling tower is in FRP pultruted profiles and suitable for Sea & Brackish Water application.
  • The structure is in FRP pultruted profiles with SST 314 structural members.

    Advantages
  • Lower capital investment per unit
  • Lower operational expense due to low energy consumption and maintenance.
  • No downtime for repair or maintenance of mechanical components (electric motor, drive shafts, and gearboxes)
  • No electrical equipment on the cooling tower. Therefore the unit is completely explosion proof.

PV, Solar Structure, and Solar Thermal Application Greenergy

Solar energy is not only sustainable, it is renewable and this means that we willnever run out of it and it provides a clean source of energy. Many governments and green building rating systems in the GCC and Middle East have enforced theuse of solar energy and/or given incentives to increase its utilization. Greenergy provides high quality solar PVs and solar heaters along with integrated PVsolutions such as solar sheds for houses and carports. One of the popular integrated solutions that Greenergy provides is the integrated solar PV panelwith solar heaters along with heat trace elements that help maintain the hot water system. Such solutions proved to be very economic as it provides and maintains the domestic hot water using the solar energy solely.
